I really liked this lesson.  When I teach consecutive numbers the students are kind of lost.  This is a great game to play using the algebra representation of consecutive numbers.  I think I will really use this.  You do not have to be in the computer lab.  It is a lesson that I can use in my classroom.

This is a great way to see where my students are at the end of chapter 6.  My algebra book follows the same lessons as this site must because at the end of chapter 6 we should be finished with graphing points, solving for a variable, finding slopes and putting equations in slope-intercept form. I really like this site.  I will definately use this next school year.  I wish I was more comfortable with the computer and what is available on the web before.

This is such a difficult  concept to explain.  When yoou do explain it mathematically, the students do not understand what you mean anyway.  This is an outstanding way to explain multiplying and dividing + and - numbers and having every student understand it and be able to remember it.  I'm hooked!
